Kecepatan Tulis Flashdisk

Sejumlah flashdisk berikut ini "dihapus" dengan menjalankan perintah:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdX1 bs=1M count=YYYY 

Nilai YYYY berturut-turut 1900 (2GB), 3800 (4GB), 7300 (8GB), 14600 (16GB); disesuaikan dengan kapasitas flashdisk. Identitas flashdisk didapatkan dengan menjalankan perintah:

Kecepatan penulisan yang tercatat berturut-turut:

1. VGEN NTAC1 (8GB): 11 MBps
2. VGEN NTAC2 (8GB): 9.6 MBps
3. VGEN NTAC3 (8GB): 9 MBps
4. Kingston Technology (16GB): 8 MBps
5. Transcend (8GB): 6.5 MBps
6. Kingston Data Traveler (4GB): 6.3 MBps
7. SanDisk Cruzer Blade (4GB): 5 MBps
8. SanDisk Cruzer Micro (8GB): 3.9 MBps
9. SIS Super Flash (2GB): 3.6 MBps
10. Transcend Jet Flash (2GB): 2.5 MBps

Perlu dicatat; pertama: semua flashdisk di atas adalah bekas pakai, serta mungkin saja barang palsu! Kedua --- sebagai perbandingan --- Hardisk Seagate 2 TB USB/3.5"; kecepatan transfer mencapai 31.9 MBps.
